Poston Motor Company first opened its doors in 2004 and was named in honor of the Chevrolet dealership that Matt Poston’s grandfather owned in the 1940s. By choosing this name, Matt Poston is acknowledging a family tradition of and commitment to the absolute best in auto repair and customer service.
Matt first gained his love of auto mechanics in 1967 while working on his Ford Mustang in high school. By 1987 he was working as a professional in the auto repair industry while pursuing a business management degree at Georgia State University via night courses. Following this degree, he became an ASE certified master mechanic.
The next step for Matt was to combine his training and skills to open his own automotive repair shop. The business has grown by leaps and bounds over the years, from a single employee and lift to a seven member staff and nine complete repair bays. This has been achieved thanks to satisfied customers and word-of-mouth testimonials.
