Matt Poston opened Poston Motor Company in 2004 in tribute to the Chevrolet dealership his grandfather ran in the 1940s, and as a reminder of a family legacy of customer care and service. Matt first discovered his love for automobiles in 1967, working on his Mustang in high school. Years later, he began working as a mechanic, took night classes to gain a business management degree from Georgia State University and secured a certification as an ASE master mechanic.
The next logical step was for Matt to use his business degree and mechanic skills to create Poston Motor Company. The business steadily grew in size through sheer word-of-mouth. It began in those early days with only a single lift and mechanic, but now supports nine full bays and an expert staff of seven!
