Poston Motor Company was first opened in 2004. Owner Matt Poston named it in tribute to his grandfather’s Chevrolet dealership from the 1940s. Such a long family tradition represents the highest quality care and customer service. Matt began his love of mechanics and cars while working on is Mustang in 1967. By 1987 he had begun working in the auto repair business. He gained a degree in business management during night classes from Georgia State University and obtained his ASE master mechanic certification.
Matt decided to use his business degree and mechanical aptitude to open his own shop. Over the years the business grew in size and scope, driven by word-of-mouth referrals. From its early days supporting one lift and one employee, the shop now features nine bays and seven first-rate staff members.
